Brandon was the past co-founder of MP2 Energy, an industry leading electricity and services platform company, sold to Shell Energy North America in 2017. Brandon is a serial entrepreneur in the energy industry and has been responsible for the creation of two energy services businesses and two commodity trading hedge funds. Brandon began his career as the former head of electricity trading at Credit Suisse and Sumitomo. He is the recipient of “Top 10 Energy Deal of the Year” by Energy Risk Magazine. He is regularly sought out by government officials, market participants, and consumers to discuss the energy marketplace. Brandon has a passion for building teams based upon continuous communication and transparent incentives, and is mechanically minded for creating measurable results and returns for his investors. In his spare time, Brandon has worked with hundreds of young professionals as a mentor, the next generation of great leaders, in over 20 countries around the world. Brandon designs and operates education internationally within the Young Presidents Organization, where he serves on a 16 person international committee, responsible for 22,000 members. To balance his commitments and travel, Brandon competes around the world in Ironman events. Brandon lives in The Woodlands, Texas, with his wife Lauren, two sons, and a daughter.
Oswaldo is an information strategist and officer with over a decade of enterprise expertise in the design and integration of systems that perform functions from customer lead repository to portfolio and risk management in the electricity and natural gas markets. His focus includes the design, coding, and implementation of complex financial models, enterprise risk management systems, and cutting edge customer prospecting systems. As an executive, Oswaldo has a strong track record in growing and monetizing intellectual property value. Oswaldo was the past vice president of Risk Management and Pricing at MP2 Energy, LLC, acquired by Shell Energy North America Subsidiary in 2017. Prior to MP2, Oswaldo held senior roles at Reliant Energy and Constellation. Most notably, Oswaldo excels at combining technical expertise with company management, whereby a single team designs, constructs, implements, and operates the enterprise systems developed. Oswaldo holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Texas A&M University and extensive training in financial model techniques, design, audit and quality assurance from Operis Business Engineering, Ltd (London, UK). Oswaldo resides in The Woodlands, Texas with his wife Keri and two sons.
James was previously a Vice President with ALPS Alternative Investment Services where he served as the head of the Dallas, Texas office. With nearly 20 years’ experience in the alternative investment arena, James was responsible for managing and overseeing ALPS’ operations in Dallas including client relationship management and business development. His vast knowledge of hedge and private equity fund operations and previous experience in prime brokerage and institutional investor servicing allows him to assist clients with all areas of business management. James’ fluency in fund accounting, fund operations and industry specific efficiency enhancement techniques, combined with his quantitative, analytical mindset, allow him to move firms to the next level of success. James graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, and from American Graduate School of International Management with a Master’s in International Management.
For almost two decades, Kevin focused on bringing leading-edge physical modeling, diagnostic, and risk management technologies and services to the upstream oil and gas industry. Working directly with private equity and other investors, he led multi-disciplinary teams to systematically move good ideas from inspiration to business value and monetization. Accordingly, Kevin consistently developed new revenue streams and profit centers for the start-up companies he’s engaged with over the course of his career. His experience includes the acquisition and divestiture of intellectual property and measurement of associated returns. Kevin’s moves into the energy commodity space with a view toward market-changing technologies and business models. Most recently, Kevin was the Vice President of Sales and Technology Solutions at Sigma Cubed, Inc., an upstream technology company focused on business optimization for shale play operators. Prior to that, he held senior roles at Earth Decision Sciences and Paradigm. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Trinity University and a Master of Science in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado in Denver. Kevin lives in The Woodlands, TX, with his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
Anne is the Head of Administration for Teleios Commodities and brings a diverse background of experience that includes executive support experience, relationship building, strategic planning, project management and organizational skills in a variety of different industries ranging from hospitality to law. Anne lives in the Woodlands, Texas with her beloved “Kitty” and enjoys visiting with her two beautiful daughters and four grandchildren.
A proven leader at the intersection of the energy sector and technology, Cliff brings his analytical expertise to perform sophisticated financial analysis and reporting. Throughout his career, Cliff has demonstrated an ability to initiate and manage multiple priorities in fast paced environments.
Prior to Teleios, Cliff’s career progressed at Constellation Energy where he most notably specialized in creating lean systems and financial modeling. Cliff’s management of internal and external data, the expectations of senior leadership and customers helped him become extremely knowledgeable in creating value in the energy space.
Cliff is a former starting guard for the Rice Owls Basketball team and continued his progress into the professional arena internationally. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Sociology from Rice University and a Master’s in Maritime Administration and Logistics from Texas A&M University. Cliff resides in Houston, TX with his wife Noelle, corporate banker and acclaimed figure skater.
